Fresh from its latest investment in cell-based seafood producer Shiok Meats, aquaculture-focused fund Aqua-Spark anticipates “three or four” more deals before the end of 2020, co-founder Amy Novogratz told Undercurrent News.

The coronavirus pandemic has, understandably, slowed its operations up somewhat this year — particularly on the fundraising side of things — but it still hopes to approach its normal yearly target of six-to-eight new investments, as well as “follow-up” investments in those firms it has already brought into its network, she said.
